Turkish Coffee Cezve

cezve (Turkish: cezve, Arabic: جَِذوة) is a small long-handled pot with a pouring lip designed specifically to make Turkish coffee. It is traditionally made of brass or copper, occasionally also silver or gold.

Mainly enjoyed throughout the Middle East, Turkish Coffee is made in a cezve, a typical long-handled pot made from copper or brass.

Hand hammered and handcrafted copper body, lined with tin for safe cooking. Before using please wash your new coffee maker in warm water with a mild soap or dish detergent. Hand wash only, and dry after each use to avoid spotting.

Use only wooden, nylon, silicone or other non-metallic utensils to stir your coffee. Metal utensils may scratch the inner tin lining.

Holds approximately 2 cups of Turkish coffee, 120 ml or 4 oz -
    6.3 cm or 2 1/2''

How to prepare a roasted coffee:

    1. Bring cold filtered water equal to the number of servings required tp a boil. A standard serving for Turkish coffee is about 3oz.
    2. Add one teaspoon of coffee for every cup and stir. If you are adding sugar, add it with the coffee, not after the coffee has cooked.
    3. Bring to a gentle boil on a low flame. Remove when the coffee starts rising. Be careful as this step happens quickly.
    4. Enjoy!
