PRODUCT SOURCED FRON CAIRO, EGYPT
Fragrant, woods, enriched with fine, fragrant oils. Incense burning in the old Arab tradition as it is practiced in Egypt today. During burning valuable fragrances are released and spread a relaxing lovely scent.
The Egyptian Blue Nile was inspired from the great river of North Africa, Blue Nile, which forms the "Nile" together with the White Nile as the two meet in the Khartoum area of Sudan. The Blue Nile has given life to barren lands since times past ~ the overflow of the river contributed to the fertility of the Nile Valley, and the subsequent rise of the ancient Egyptian civilization and its mythology.
Egyptian Blue Nile, Shimmering Essence of Water; cooling, fresh and invigorating has been infused with Lotus and Jasmine to recall the authentic floral notes of Egyptian lands. Delicate Lotus, the healing, energizing as well as aphrodisiac flower, is here combined with the warm and sensual jasmine resulting in complete harmony. Soft tones of Musk and Sandalwood balances the scent, gives it stability and longevity. Our Egyptian Blue Nile is refreshingly aromatic, exotic and alluring unisex fragrance, a Rare Treasure from an Ancient Time.

History of Egyptian Oils
In ancient Egypt, extracted fragrance oils were used in rituals, the body and in the hair These ancient perfumes were much thicker than what we use now, similar to a honey or an olive oil consistency. They were potent and remained on the wearer all day.
Ancient Egyptians often used moringa, linseed, sesame and castor oils in their perfumes along with different plants, flowers and wood fragments. Some extracts of almond and olive oil were also used to increase the quality and pungency of the perfumes.
